Bottom engine cover screws / bolts
I changed my oil the other day and just left the bottom engine cover off. So many of the screws and bolts were broken over the years and had been replaced with the wrong ones that I just wanted to start new.
It seems there are screws in the front of the cover and bolts for all attach points. Does anyone know the dimensions of all of the bolts and screws?
Thanks

Are you close to a Lexus dealer? Mechanics have lost many of these fasteners over the years -- Lexus dealer parts guy has often just thrown a bag over the counter to me for free.
The 5 or 6 (depending on model year) screws holding the cover up at the front and six or so bolts holding the cover up at the middle and back all require a 10 mm wrench.
The plastic inserts that the 5 or 6 front screws go into are replaceable -- they often get stripped by ham fisted mechanics. You might consider replacing yours. Just pry out the old ones and push new ones in place. I've never stripped one of these plastic inserts myself but I always hand tighten the front screws with a socket on an extension but without using the socket wrench part.
In fact, any more I just remove the undercover before I take my car to a repair shop for work. I've had more than one engine undercover trashed by mechanics over the years, had somebody else's undercover put on my car, many lost screws and bolts, etc. that I'd rather spend 10 minutes removing the undercover so I don't have to waste even more of my time replacing damaged/lost parts.
If you want to get the part numbers for the screws and bolts you need so you can order them from an online seller like parts.com you can find them on that website whose name may not be spoken on this forum -- see the attached diagram with the website URL.

Excellent link Kansas, my cover has been off for awhile and I was wondering how to get a brand new one.
dixiebuyer, I'm pretty sure the numbers in parentheses are the quantities.
