Default About to buy a 2000 "platinum edition"

Hello everyone,

In a few days I will most likely be purchasing a 2000 LS400 "platinum edition".
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences are between the platinum and the regular model. Are the body specifications (sizes) the same? The reason I'm asking is because I want to put a Wald V2 body kit on it.

Thanks!

Content of the three Platinum Series packages (SE, SF, SG) described here: http://www.lexus.com/contact/pdf/2000/2000LSspecs.pdf

Yes, the bodies are the same. IMO body kits on any year LS400 make the car look cheap.

ok, thanks! one more question:
I noticed on the regular series LS, the lower side panels are a different color than the rest of the car. Is it supposed to be the same on the platinum series?
The one I'm looking at is the same shade of silver all around. The lower side panels are silver instead of that light beige color which I see on other LS's.

Well, at least now I know that it's supposed to be like that. I definitely like the two-tone better though.
