Default Broken Door Handle? My DIY $5 Fix inside with pics

Purchased some JB weld from Autozone for $5

Took some old hardware laying around. This is from a door handle set, the part that goes on to the wall that the lock goes into. Fits perfectly underneath without showing

JB weld it to the inner backpart of the broken handle to provide support when you open the door. I added some to the crack above and wiped off excess.

Finnaly some OEM lexus touchup paint I had laying around

$5 better than $175+ for a new one for those that dont mind not being perfect.

Some may call it a crude job some may call it a good cheap one, but hey it works! Opens just fine now

I could source a handle from Pick a Part for around $10-15. You sure you wouldn't rather have that?
