Default Replacing Needle on Instrument Cluster

How difficult is it to do a speedometer needle transplant on a 90 LS400 instrument cluster? Mine is 1/2 dark but i have a spare cluster with a fully lit needle.

why not just swap the cluster?

I like my cluster It's perfect...Want accurate mileage to boot.
