XM Radio for 1990 LS400
My lovely wife gave me an XM Radio for Christmas. My question: should I go ahead and install the removeable "XM Roady" version which plugs into the cassette player for power, or is there a Lexus version that is permanently installed? I would like a CD player too which this radio does not have, but I'm not wild about changing the original look of my dash with flashy aftermarket equipment.

I just pieced my car back to "stock" so I can sell it. I put a FM
modulated CD-changer in since it does not have factory CD.
It also has FM modulated XM in it too, since I already had the
brain and antenna in the car. The sound qualitiy is not as clear
as direct plug cd, but for the most part you really cant notice,
unless you have some sort of sound system. If it is for everyday
driving on the stock stereo, go FM modulated, cheaper and less
worries if you are not an "audio enthusiest"
