Question XM radio

XM radio...has anyone heard it? How will it work with the ML system? Should you replace the ML with the Pioneer/Sony?

XM radio and its competitor Sirius Radio sound very promising although I have not used either yet. CD quality sound, many stations without commercials (probably only the crappy stations that you don't want to listen to anyways), no bad reception, for only about $10 a month?! Where do I sign up?

Anyone who replaces the Mark Levinson system in the new SC430 aught to be shot. That system sounds incredible and looks amazing. I can just image it; press the button to open the cover for the ML stereo and it has been removed and replaced with a plastic adapter plate and your new 1 DIN XM radio headunit.

If being able to pick up Satellite Radio (XM or Sirius) is really that important to you, I would suggest getting one of those system (I know Sony makes one) that allows it to be played through your FM radio. It works essentially the same way an FM modulated CD Changer works. You lose the CD quality sound, must play it through the FM while controlling the Satellite radio stations with a little LCD screen that you mount somewhere on the dash. It works but it just isn't the same. This option should definitely come before removing the ML system
