Lightbulb I got my HID Equipment guys....

It turns out the ballasts are PIAA, the bulbs are ORSAM XENARC 66040 D2S and the relays are on the way. I'm just about ready minus the Dremmel tool set. I need this to do some modding to remove the original Halogen Low-Beam projectors and replace them with my A6 HID ones. So the project for my ES is gradually progressing. I'll have some pics laid out tomorrow.

it's about time you got started on that project. we were talking about that before winter.....you even got your projectors before me. i got mine done like the day after i received my TT proectors. well, if you've got any questions feel free to ask.

i found that the Audi projectors really do look nice (they have the blue tint to them) but only when they're by themselves and not inside the headlight assembly. somehow our ES housings block the light and scatters it somewhere, so it's hard to see the different colors in the cutoff line unless your close up against a wall. my headlights still end up being a bright white light.....definitely more noticable when compared to any stock halogen.

Amrit's got an online server where I can post pics. I'd like to put some up..let me see what I can do. I need to grab a dremmel tool. Anyone got one I can borrow for this or rent out? How much is the total price for a Dremmel tool set (for cutting out old projectors), screws (for mounting new projectors), wire ties (for mounting projectors) and electrical tape (for weather purposes). I'm estimating like less than $60.00. If the Audi TT projectors are different from the A6 projectors, (in theory), should we expect different output results? Also, my projectors are bulky in the back. It may be a challange mounting them properly but nothing we can't overcome. As soon as I locate, a pic server, I'll post some pics of my stuff that's going in.
