Default OEM Lexus HID in a SC400?

Will this work in my car?

Its stock from another lexus, not sure which one yet. I have a 93' SC400.

I guess judging from the picture it is from a GS and the bulbs are D2R.

no 2 reason.

1, the base of the bulb is made for D2 which means it will only fit into reflector HID housing.

2. the bulb has a shield on it means its also for reflector housing. the sc has projector.

not sure what kind of bulb typs is used for low beam on the sc, but say if it's 9006, you can actually fit that d2r bulb in the housing, just that it wont' hold. you can use silicon or other sealant to seal it. i have seen people doing it, the problem is what if you have to change the bulb, that would be troublesome

and yes, putting d2r (reflective) bulbs on a projective housing would be weird
