HID Kit with Lexus GS300 question
I recently bought an HID kit and installed it on my car. Sometimes when I turn my headlights on one side, sometimes even both, headlights dont turn on. I would have to turn headlights on and off a couple times (around 3-4) before I could get them both to turn on. Sometimes they come right on also. So I went to the shop I got them at. They tested it on a battery and both bulbs worked and tells me that its my Daytime running Lights thats affecting the HIDs. Is this true with the Lexus 2GS's?
Brand is ONEX.

I Have never Heard of that brand..... I have bought multiple kits from KBcarstuff.com and Steve ( I believe his name was) Helped me choose the one that i really wanted......
I always recommend this, If you want Better Quality on anything you buy... Do your research and Spend the money..... Saving money isnt always better... You will end up spending more replacing ****ty items.

ONEX is a good brand i had them for 3 years before. however right now there are so many fake one out there so you probably bought the fake one.
Daytime running lights will not effect the HID in your low beam.
We sell the high quality HID kit for CL discount price and no flickering at all

Your vehicle does not use the low beam bulb for the DRL meaning that they would have no effect on your low beams not functioning correctly. The ballasts in your kits most likely have a very high start up draw. I would suggest installing a relay harness to ensure you do not damage your vehicle's OEM headlight wiring.

Hmm that sucks..I probably did get a fake one since the price was almost retail of what Onex have on their site. I guess I'll just search up vendors here to get me some HiDs.

A relay harness will probably solve your issue... They are cheap and easy to install.

Most likely its the ballast not being about to fire up the bulb. Theres nothing wrong with your car but you should revert back to oem and get the hid option from the gs300/
Doesn't the GS300 have an HID option?
