will chaning reverse light bulb to 7-watt LED cause bulb failure light to come on?
I'm interested in getting the 7-watt white LED bulb(7440/7443) from v-leds.
Are these going to be brighter than regular bulbs?
THANKS!

Back-up lights are not connected to the "light out" pilot on the dash. So you should be ok.
And they will not be brighter than the stock halogen bulbs. They will look MUCH better, but will produce less lumens of light, meaning you won't be able to see as good...

Since the reverse light is not normally on for very long, and most reverse lights are lacking to say the least. Why not stick a high output xenon in there, then you will be able to see where u are going. It is not a light you are going to use for show.

"sticking" a xenon bulb in the reverse light housings will blind everyone behind you, this could be incredibly dangerous... Unless you add a cutoff shield or some sort of anti-glare shield i wouldn't consider it a good idea =/
