Scott Pruett demonstrates LFA launch control system on a perfect surface
0 - 60 mph demonstration by Scott Pruett.
With a 0 - 100 km/h (61 mph) in ~ 3.6 seconds, it easily looks like a 3.3 - 3.5 seconds 0 - 60 mph. No wheelhop, no wheelspin and no fuss. Just straight acceleration.
The sound is so good that it makes me cry.

The thread title states what it is. There is no such thing as "power braking" in the LFA automated manual transmission. The ECU does not allow that.
It is a full-fledged launch control as mentioned in the thread title that needs to be activated ("Launch" in orange shows up in the middle of the tachometer).
The only other flawed method press had been using was the "neutral drop" method with TRAC off, which is dump into 1st gear from neutral, but it is not a launch control since the ECU/traction control does not modulate the ignition timing and clutch to limit wheelspin and maximize traction. Still nothing close to "power braking".
