2000 Lexus GS400 with 3.76 Diff w/LSD, L-Tuned, Many Extras
March 2009 Update: Just bought an SL500, so I've decided to put the GS4 back on the market. I considered selling it 6 months ago when I almost bought a Lotus Elise but couldn't pull the trigger. As I think I'm finally ready to let her go, I've dropped the price $2k from $11,900 to $9,900. The car has gone from 89k miles to 99k miles since I posted it and I've had the complete 90k service done with timing belt, water pump, etc. Ad below has been updated.

One of the best modifications for the GS4, as it turns the car into a beast – taking half a second off the 0-60 and really allows you to launch into turns. Check the forums to see the comments on it. Through L-Tuned parts, this would cost over $2k for the part (http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=1754). I had it installed by a Toyota dealer and have all receipts.
L-Tuned Shocks & Springs
Professionally installed at 70k miles, the L-Tuned shocks greatly improve handling without creating a harsh ride like more aggressive aftermarket units. The L-Tuned springs gives the GS400 the correct stance as they eliminate the awkward fender gap found on OEM cars.
Built in Radar Detector
Combination of 2 radar detectors – the Escort Passport SR7 and Shifter ZR3 are merged to create the best system against radar and laser. The display is mounted in the ashtray and sensors are hidden in the front (behind the grille) and rear (above the license plate) of the car for total coverage. This was professionally installed and cost over $1,500 new.
Alarm, Remote Start, and Pager
This system includes a great alarm, remote start capability, and a pager that alerts you when your alarm is activated (up to ½ mile away). There are also several advanced features that allow you to set the interior temperature of the car so it will be cooled or heated when you arrive. Includes 2 remotes.
Other:
Pirelli Nero Zero 235/45 R17 tires (Rears are new; <2k miles on them)
Chrome grille – the grille has been stripped to reveal the beautiful chrome finish underneath
Clear Bra on front of hood and fenders to protect it from paint chips - can be easily removed if desired
Maintenance:
Full 90k service including Timing Belt and Water Pump replacement, etc was done at 90k miles
Rear brakes and rotors are new and front brakes were replaced ~15,000 miles ago
Replaced Ball Joints and Tie-rod ends at 80k – which is a must in the 2GS as it is a known trouble area and can result in serious damage if not replaced

The previous owner who had it from 28,000-55,000 miles was the finance manager at a Toyota dealership and I formerly worked at Toyota’s Corporate headquarters in Torrance. All modifications were done with L-Tuned parts - which is Lexus' performance division - and were done to enhance the GS400 and make it the way it should have come from the factory. The car is in immaculate shape both inside and out and maintains a very clean, professional look. Please email me with any questions or to set up a time to see it. Thanks, guys. I took at least a grand off of what I would normally ask for it - because if I sell it, it needs to be in the next couple weeks.
