Default Manually releasing parking brake NX

I am aware that Lexus includes manual parking brake release tools for the GS and LS, but not the NX. What is Lexus's recommended procedure in case the battery is dead and the electronic brake cannot be released?

Great question. If the Lexus NX battery dies we recommend contact roadside assistance as they would be in the best position to assist. The shift lever can be placed in neutral by using the shift lever unlock however, the electronic steering and parking brake will remain engaged until battery power is restored. We hope this information helps...
