Default what component speakers?

For a good all around system.... MB Quarts or Infinity Kappa?
I can get both 5.25 systems for about the same price.

Maybe a better different brand?

Thanks

Have you considered Boston Acoustics Pro series? I like those much better than the MB Quart or the Infinity. I have Dynaudio myself but not sure if they make a 5.25 and tweeter set.

Have you ever thought about diamond audio? I have a set of the s600s hex series and love'em. The set includes 2 crossovers, two tweets, and two of whatever size mid you get. I got the 6.5 but am pretty sure they sell a 5.25 set. And guru, how much did you get the dynaudio set for (if you don't mind me asking), those are supposed to be pretty high dollar components. And vondy21, remember to get a nice sq amp to push whatever you get (I went with a/d/s/, but there are a whole lot of good quality sq amps).

Default thanks

Where is a good online store to find Dynaudio or Boston Acoustics?

These would be powered by a 100w 4 channel amp. Thats 25x4. Would that be enough to get good sound? Not too loud but good.

Thanks

100W Amp at 25x4? I hope that isn't 25x4 MAX Power. If it's continuous power at 25x4 I still feel that's a bit underpowered especially if you pick up some really nice speakers.

As for components, between the MB Quarts and Infinity's, I would definitely choose the MB's. As for the Boston Acoustics, you can't go wrong with ProSeries components. The 5.5 ProSeries is a 5.25" set. In my truck I actually have the Boston Acoustics ProSeries 5.25" and they are just awesome. I also use MB Quarts coax on the rear doors, and they are very good as well. I power the Boston and MB's with a 4 channel Alpine V12 amp.

Thanks Percy! NVICTIS, I have the 3 piece setup with the passive crossovers. 8 inch midbass, 4 inch dome midrange and tweeter. It was around $1100 many years ago when I got them. I'm going to have them molded into the door but have not had time and have to get plates on my STi so I have a car to drive while they do the work. I've been super busy at the shop with various projects.

I have MB Quart PCE 213 and PCE 210 and am extremely happy with them. Ive had bostons and others and they dont compare. The MBs are so crystal clear that I am blown away every time I crank it up. You wont regret the MBs
