Tapedeck
on my 1993 SC 400 there is a tapedeck and I thought if I purchased the ION cassette adapter with Bluetooth, t could listen to the music on my iphone through the radio of my car. However when I push the button for tape it doesn't register on the lcd screen as am, fm, or cd. As a result the tape machine in the console apparently is not working and the Bluetooth cassette obviously is not function. The question I have is there a fix? and why doen't the TAPE button register on the LCD screen???/

don't know, but my suggestion is to do the AUX in modification if you have a standard pioneer head unit.
i did it a few weeks ago, easy to do and you get great sound, much better than tape deck adapter.
