Blown fuse for cigarette lighters?
I posted this in the electronics section, but it's important to me so I'm going to post here too-
RE: 1990 LS400
I was attempting to familarize myself with taking out the stock deck to hook up some audio equipment and not paying attention I had the radio turned on at the time. I was pulling out the bottom cigarette and lighter unit and the radio flased on an off. I turned everything off and put everything back together and when I went to use the cigarette lighters (either front and back) they didnt work. I took everything out and double checked connections but I'm assuming it's a fuse since the radio flashed on and off. Anyone have any ideas?

Wheres that screw go?
I think you need to tear it all apart again to put that screw back where it's supposed to go.
So, having the screw in the lighter did blow a fuse, right?

The screw was inside the push out ashtray and fell out somehow, into the lighter socket. It was just sitting inside, the screw wasn't a piece from the actual socket.

No, I thin keeveryone is looking too far into this, the problem turned it to be something simple, there was a small screw that fell inside the lighter socket. When I'd plug something into it the would pop and not work again. I changed the fuse, took out the screw and it was alll good again.
