I have the Viper 5704 installed in my car with remote start.

Here are the issues I am having. I just need to know if the tech is bsing me or if I am just screwed.

The puddle lights no longer turn on when you arm the alarm. So when I walk up no puddle lights. If I just lock the car using my lexus key fob, they work.

When you arm the car no flashing parking lights, when you unlock the car the rear parking lights flash.

When the alarm goes off, no flashing lights at all.

The guy said it's because I have the auto on lights that it won't allow them to flash. I can understand the headlights not flashing but the parking lights should still flash am I correct?

So what I am asking is, does anyone have these features all working? Or am I just SOL?

sounds plausible but without seeing it i cant say for certain..puddle lamps may be a lost cause(unless your wiling to pay the labor to rewire them into the alarm). but he should be able to run a positive line to the parking lights beyond the switch, on the bulb side of the parking light relay.. have him wire the alarms parking light output(switched to positive) to the bulb side of the relay.. and at least that will give you some form of bulb flashing..he should also be able to tie the dome light supervision output to the puddle lamps if u want those back when u disarm.....
