Default Feedback bass note from subs

I had a problem with my aftermarket subs. The installer used a Line Out Converter from the factory sub in the trunk and hooked it to the aftermarket amp. Now everytime I start the car I get a feedback bass note (for a second) from the subs, and also when you turn off the radio. Do I need to use a better LOC or just bypass the factory sub amp? Also my bass does not sound that clean to me.
Thanks.

Make sure you have a good ground connection. See if they sanded the paint off the area where it's bolted to.

Make sure you have the remote wire of the aftermarket amp tapped into a wire that cuts off when you turn off the key to the car. Also you may want to turn your gain down a little. //BeauNoz
