Wheres the best area to get the power wire through the firewall from the battery?
also do you guys usually run the wires on passenger side?
If you look behind the battery, closest to the passenger fender and the firewall, you'll see a rubber grommet with all the factory wiring harness running through the firewall. This is the best place to run the power cable as it's an existing opening in the firewall that drops the wire to the passenger footwell and directly behind the factory amplifier.
It's also easiest to leave it on the passenger side because there is no need to run it across to the drivers side to just run it to the trunk (unless you need to for some reason). Having the battery on the passenger side and running it all on the passenger side is the easiest way to do all of it and will save you a lot of headaches.
