Unknown wires...What to do?
Just got a SC400 with aftermarket speakers and tweeters and stuff but the previous owner has sold the sub and the amp and now I'm left with some wires coming out in the trunk and I don't know where to start hooking them back. I won't be getting a subwoofer cuz I don't like really loud bass but do I need a amp or anything, headunit is alpine 7893.
Anything would help, thanks.

Ohh nice. looks like the guy left all the wiring in the car, that'll save u some cash.
First are the speakers n tweeters still installed? Your gonna need to check. Also your gonna need to remove them and see the model they are. Then you can buy an amp that will match their rms.
Also since your gonna need to take stuff apart to get to the speakers. Remove the trim and rear seats while your at it and just follow the wires to where they lead.
The wires cars have are;
Power from the battery to the amps
RCAs from the headunit to the amps
Power/ground from the speakers to the amps.
Ground from the amp to the cars metal chassis.
BTW i would advice you to buy a subwoofer. Without somekind of sub, all music will lack bass and will sound very "flat"

Thanks Ryeno, but there is more to fix than this radio/music thing, I just need it work right now so no investment in amp or sub, even if I do I don't want to cheap out on them.
So how do I just wire them up here, the alpine HU is a preamp too right? It should be able to handle the load.
I need a solution that is least expensive here, this radio just needs to work, that's all.

More than likely the factory amp is bypassed. I believe it's in the trunk in that vehicle ???. Not sure though. But you would need to find it and hookup the outputs from the alpine to the speaker leads.
Your other option would be to run speaker wire to the speaker wires already located in the trunk from the previous 4-channel amp. Looks like it was on the passenger side. In picture #3 it looks like your speaker leads. Get some speaker wire there and hook it to the back of the alpine and you should have sound... GL!
Just in case you don't know where to start: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=384430
And, in your case, your factory amp location would be substituted for the speaker leads that you already have in your trunk!
Oh, and the alpine would be fine running speakers directly off it!!
