... and ended up with the following:
* Kenwood 2DIN DVD/GPS head unit
* Kenwood 4ch amplifier
* 4" MTX front splits
* 4" Kenwood rear fill



Anyway I'm off to do the installation myself into my Soarer. The head unit and amp are already in, the power and RCA cables have been run along the transmission tunnel and I have to do the speaker install today.

I want to do this install as clean as possible. I'll also hopefully figure out a way to secure the speakers in the OEM speaker baffles (4.25" opening).

I'll post pics along the way.

lol. how did that happen? I remember about 2 years ago when i went shopping for an ipod i ended up with a 1gb sony mp3.

My original CD player throws tantrums even at original CD's and I grew tired of listening to one CD that would actually semi-play... I was conned into buying all this stuff when my better half said "I might as well"... gotta love her
