DC/DC Converters and OEM Looking Switches
For 2IS owners someone has figure out a way to hack the nav screen and feed in a video input feed (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho....php?t=251335).
So I'm planning to hook up a slim PS2 in my car to playback DVDs and games. The PS2 uses a 8.5V input so I was thinking I can use a DC/DC converter rather then using a DC/AC inverter then use the PS2 adapter to go back down to 8.5V. I found this (http://www.powerstream.com/dc-ps2.htm) online but it's $131 Any other recommendations on DC/DC converter or another efficient way of powering a slim PS2?
Also, I'll be needing two switches for this mod. On the 2IS there are three unused switch slots to the left of the steering wheel, so I want to try to find switches that will look stock once its installed. Any recommendations on OEM looking switches?
Thanks,
TJ
