Navigation software?

What is the latest version available for newer Lexus'? When may we expect an upgrade? I'm a newbie to this group and am looking forward to your assit.

....it's not free ! And it's not reversible once installed since it's firmware rather than software.

2001 RX300 Nav. Upgrade?

I have the '03 updated DVD and it seemed worse than the original! Anything newer for this vehicle?
