Greetings,
I want to build a custom sub box .5-.75 cu ft. to fit and hang under the rear deck. I want to aim the speaker pointing to the existing opening in the rear deck.
Ques 1) Looks like the speaker opening in the custom box will be at the back edge of the box because of the gas tank . How do you fellows do it. Do I also build some kind of a foam ring to bridge the gap between the speaker and the opening ??
Dynamat the heck out of the top and bottom of the deck ?
Ques 2) How do you HANG the heavy box. I dont want to make it any "thicker" than 6 inches to take as little trunk space as possible. So , it will be fairly wide to make up the volume.
Is there some kind of structure I can somehow mount the box to so that it safely hangs from the deck.
Pictures would be great if anyone has some.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Dynamat the lell out of the bottom of the deck, and make a couple of extra holes.
You do not need anything to remove the gap between the sub and the box. Just point it up and leave the gap.
Best way to mount the box is to make an amp rack under it and place the box on top of the rack.
