W3's are good SQ subs. What's your budget and what kind of amp do you have? Or what do you plan on getting?

with the JW7 can you use the stock amp on GS400 (1999) to run it. and would this be a good sub to swap out for the stock. if not which would?

thanks for input

I doubt it. The W7 wants juice and the OEM amp just won't have it. Plus, it is meant to be in a box whereas the OEM one is a free air type. It would not be an ideal direct swap.

what Neo said. the 10W7 for example needs @ 700+ watts to it and you'll either have to go with a sealed or ported enclosure depending on your desired sound output.

I dont have that much for a w7 ......i wanted something inexpensive .....just to give me a nice base OUTSIDE of the car cuz the stock aint kicking it!

I wanted 2 subwoofers in a boxed enclosure.

I was thinking of some Infinity 10”/12" Subwoofer speakers?????? I dunno Bottom line i probably dont wanna spend more then $350 on subs and box, i can adjust my price if i search on ebay a lil bitt.

Then after the speakers i can find the amp!

I had found some 10W3D6 10"s for $115 each dunno if there good base hitters or if the price is good???

Also what am i looking for as far as specs on a woofer is it:

watts peak power
Hz
cone type ect......

Thanks

You will be very happy with 2 10W3 JL's. I have a single 10W3 in a ported box and it beats!

10W0's are horrible, very loose. Not recommended.
Go with 10W6-V2 or 10W3 if you're doing JL.
