Just wanted to know how good is the stock alarm on the 96 sc400? I know that while the alarm on and windows are down the car cannot be opened by reaching in the car and using the unlock button. But my main concern is the trunk. The sc has this push button style lock that prevents the power lock on the trunk from being opened. ( you know the one that requires a key to unpress). How good of a protection is that? Can that trunk lock be bypassed once the alarm has been compromised? Also I was thinking of getting that club kinda thing that placed on the brake pedal against the car from being stolen. But my main concern is for the trunk. Any 411?

Not sure about the SC, but my 98 GS was broken into this past weekend... you can read about it in the GS forum. Overall, cost me around $900 total.
