Default Quick question before I purchase wheels

Purchasing wheels soon and just finalizing decisions on offsets. A vendor recommended that I run an 18x9.5 +30 in the rear. I am currently on swift springs and stock tires. In my opinion, a 9.5 on stock tire is stretched and a +30 offset in rear will rub like crazy and is too wide. Am I incorrect?

What would be a target to shoot for for front and rear wheel widths and offsets if I am keeping stock tires and dropped on swift springs (1.1 inches all around).

I Hate stretch, I will not roll fenders, I do no want to rub and I hate stanced cars. Want fully functional but more aggressive.

Is the vendor incorrect with his recommendation for the rear? Any opinions as to target specs?

18x9.5+30 will definitely poke, but with 255, there will be a stretch, and probably wont rub.
If you want a nice tight functional look, for the rears I recommend
9.5 et43 with a proper fitting tire

how wide are the fronts?

9.5 + 30 rears will definitely rub. 9.5+40 or something along that would be close to the maximum I'd say.

Not wider than 9.5 ET35 for the rears. +38 or +40 with 265/30 rubber should be the best choise for your taste )

That's what I told the vendor but he is insisting on the 9.5 +30. I'm already dropped on springs. There is no feasible way those rears will work

Maybe he's got a dead stock pair of 9.5 +30 and trying hard to sell it ))

I've met a buddy who rides 3IS on 19" 8,5 +33 and 9,5 +40 Gruppe M's with 245/35 and 275/30 Yokohama's S Drive yesterday - and I can say when You see the rear fitment like this You don't wanna go any wider.

If the vendor is insisting, then he should not have an issue putting it in writing to guarantee you won't have rubbing...
