Rear Fog Light
Has anyone tried it or heard of our cars allowing a rear fog light? I cross mountain passes a lot and the rear fog light on my Mercedes comes in handy.

The rear fog light is standard on the EU version of the IS.
Don't know if the US model is wired to make it work, but the light itself can be ordered from lexus.
Don't have a photo of it when it's on. But you can see it clearly on the rear of my car. It sits in the same place as the reverse light. On the Eu models there is only one reverse light, and on the other side there is the rear fog light.
As you can see there are four LED bulbs on the left light. This is the stock euro fog light.

Very cool. I'm surprised you guys have only one reverse light. Although very unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised if that's a ticket able offense in Canada.
I know on all my precious Japanese cars many ppl ordered the JDM or EDM light and it just plugged in. Only issue is that there typically isn't a switch on the console

Back when I had a '12 VW GTI they did the same thing. I was able to order a "euro switch" (headlight switch) on oemplus.com and install it in less than a minute. You'd then run a small trigger wire to the circuit under the dash (about 5" away). Instead of pulling on the switch once for the fog lights, you pulled on it twice to activate both the front and rear fog lights. I wonder if the 3IS is something similar - instead of turning the switch for the front fogs you turned it twice for both. That would be awesome if it were that easy!

It is that easy.
The fog light switch on the on the light stalk has two settings. Front fog light on, and rear fog light on. You can use only front fog light, or both. You can not use only the rear fog light.
You do have to change the whole stalk as far as I know.
That is waht I've seen other people that convert US f-sport to fog light do.
My stalk has two switch positions for the fog lights.

Mind if showing a picture of the stalk for the fog lights?
Thanks.
