Looks like you got another 1300 out of them so far - you're somewhere around a $4000 discount - probably pretty good for your market.

On a lease, you should pay as little as possible up front. So try this - tell them if they can do 500 at signing and 405 a month incl tax, you are on your way to sign the lease agreement. That brings you in at about a 5000 discount, which is probably a super deal in NY.

If they won't do that, and they have the car you want, up the 500 to 1000 - that's still a pretty good deal.

If the 2500, 365 is firm for them, you have a decision to make. I do think though that if you can drag this out til month end, they will become more flexible.
