Since the 2014 is the first of the 3IS gen, I would guess very little will change. Car manufacturers typically don't do two major changes back to back. People talk about a 2-liter turbo, but I would think that would be more of a 4IS gen. I think the RC is expected this year (probably summer or later).

Not gonna happen. We would be hearing about the new engine by now, 2015 MY is only months away.
Agreed. Currently we have the 204HP 250 and the 306HP 350. When Lexus introduces an inline-4 turbo (I expect as a MY2016 or MY2017), I am wondering how that will slot into the 250/350. My hope is that the 250 becomes the IS200 (with 2.0L turbo-4) and the 350 becomes the IS300 (with a 3.0L turbo-6). These turbo engines would also be used in Toyota 2-door sports coupes (a Supra comeback?). We shall see.
