Please Help- Is this a good lease deal? 2014 IS 350 F Sport
Hi,
This is my first Lexus purchase and I am very excited. I have decided on a 2014 Lexus IS 350 F sport- msrp of 48548. I have emailed the 2 largest dealers near me and the best deal I have got is 0 down except first payment and 550 per month for 36 months 10k miles per year. 10k miles per year is good becasue this is going to be a play car and not my daily driver. what are your thoughts on this deal? I have never leased before. Any help is greatly appreciated. My initial numbers were money factor of .00164 and 64% residual but that was 12k miles per year and 619 per month, 619 down. now we are at 550 a month 550 down for 10k per year so im not sure what the updated numbers are.
Thanks
Mike

We need to see all of the numbers, but the Money Factor is high. Is your credit good? What price did they offer you on the car? I got my car at roughly $1,700-$2,000 under invoice (IS 350 F-Sport, Ultra White, Rioja Red, VGRS, ML, BSM). The car I'm leasing has the exact same MSRP and I'm paying $420 a month, 12k miles per year for two years. I put 9 security deposits into the deal to lower my money factor from the base .00130 for tier 1 credit applicants. So my net cash outlay was around $5,500 and I'll get approximately $4,000 of that back at the end of the lease.

Yes i am considering msd's. I got them to go to 12k miles per year at 550 a month. Also, I live in Texas so we have to pay tax on the entire vehicle up front(6.25%) so thats about another 2800 dollars that was rolled into the lease. So considering all that i think its a pretty good deal.

That's a pretty good deal. If you can roll in some MSD's then you'll lower your payment more. Up to you if you want to save yourself some money or not while having your cash tied up with LFS.
