IS350 F-Sport AWD/RWD
Is there any documentation showing the performance differences between the two cars? From what I've seen the specs are the same (with the exception of the transmission) in terms of height and tire size unlike the 2IS.

AWD is about 300 lbs heavier than the RWD.

of course, awd will provide traction no matter what you do to it... i had gs 350 awd and it was stable at all times.

I had 350 RWD living in Chicago and had snow tires during the winter. It was a great car 90% of the time but there were many occasions where I was stuck in the alleys from 3-4 inches of snow. They dont plow the alleys here and thats the only place I would get stuck was pulling out of my garage. It got very exhausting.
I also didnt like the fact when it was wet out or raining I would be pulling out in front of oncoming traffic and not knowing if my rear tires were going to spin or not. Sometimes when turning when its wet you engage the traction control so fast and it just disabled my car.
With the AWD, yea I get a little worse gas mileage (not noticeable, imo) and its a hair slower 0-60 but the piece of mind knowing I can drive this car anytime and not have to worry when I floor the pedal whether or not I am going to spin is a huge plus for me. I do wish I had the 8-speed tranny but the 6-speed seems perfect to me so far.,.
Hope this helps.... If you live in a warm state, Its a no-brainer!
