Cool 2104 IS250/350 Fsport lease

Hi guys, I asked my dealership to send me lease numbers on the IS250/350 Fsport, heres what i got:

250Fsport:
Msrp - $42,973
Invoice - $40,423
lease acq - $700
doc fee - $699
12k miles/24 months
75% residual
MF - .00170
est monthly payments around $570

350Fsport
Msrp - $46,993
Invoice - $44,207
lease acq - $700
doc fee - $699
12k miles/24 months
74% residual
MF - .00170
est monthly around $650

so im leaning more onto the 250 Fsport since it fits my budget. do you guys think that is a good "deal"?
oh and thats with no down payments.

I picked up a '14 250 FSport. I have a 36 month lease at $100/month lower but I put money down, took advantage of rebates (recent grad program, etc), and negotiated them down (a little). It may be harder since it's a brand new redesign/new vehicle, but try negotiating and see what they can do! I also added the Normal Wear/Tear coverage.

So you were able to get the recent grad program? My local dealership told me that it was only available for use on 2012 and 2013 models.

Hey Matt, I'm looking for an IS250 F Sport in NV as well but I'm getting very little wiggle room on the price. I was offered $1000 off MSRP but the $699 doc fee practically negates that because all a doc fee is, is an addition to the price of the car. They're not willing to budge or even offer any maintenance package with the purchase. I'm wondering if it's more cost effective to go buy one in California.
Were you offered a discount on the MSRP for your lease or purchase option? I really like the dealership and want to do business with them but they simply don't seem like they NEED to sell cars right now. I have dealerships in CA emailing me constantly trying to get me to buy from them, offering almost $2000 off the car.

How much were you able to negotiate them down?

Interesting. When I was at the dealer last week they weren't going off MSRP either, but if I can save a few grand by trucking down to SoCal, I'd do it...

The only reason I was able to negotiate the $1K off was because I'm a returning Lexus customer and I had to do a lot of arguing. They wanted MSRP because, the fact is, people are paying it. I haven't bought yet and I don't know if I"m going to spend that much on a car with no negotiations. I've always said anyone who pays MSRP is an idiot and I don't think I'm ready to be one of those idiots. I love the car but I'd have to special order to get Ultra White/Light Grey interior F Sport and waiting 90 days SUCKS.

I was able to get $1422 off Msrp and I am also a returning Lexus customer. Msrp on my car was $42,782 and I ended up paying $41,359. I got my car the first weekend ( June 29) which was month end and quarter end and dealer wanted to make sales. I didn't budge on what I wanted to put down ( minimum drive off fees) and where I wanted payment to be. And I got 2 years free maintenance included. I also got a $25 visa card for going into dealership to see the car. My deal was diffficult cause I was dealing with negative equity on my trade by turning in my prior Lexus ride very very early. I got the is250 fsport black ith red interior that you see posted on the forums. While the power of the 350 and all its bellls and whistles are great I just don't want added insurance expense of high performance engine which on my daily commute to downtown los angeles does me no good. I just use other gears to get boosts of acceleration when I need it such as d3 or m3. I have found that my is 2014 seems to be a peppier engine than the is250 fsport 2012 that I traded.

Overall I think whatever IS model you get, your getting a fun car to drive with great reliability. This is my 5th IS250 and I have been pleased with each car I have had.

Instead of getting the residual as a percentage get the actual dollar amount of the residual value. Residual values are set by the lender. If you don't have the credit score you won't qualify for the best financing terms . Your deal doesn't indicate license and registration fees and whether first payment s included. A dealer can quote you the moon but its all dependent on credit. Also it's best to negotiate on a car they have in stock on their lot. Not one coming in god knows when from the port or that they have to do a dealer trade for or special order

The dealership (Los Angeles area) did accept the grad program on the '14. At first they were hesitant and weren't sure because it was a new car, but they told me that the new IS did apply. Just needed a copy of my diploma/transcripts which I brought them.
