Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, I recently went from Acura RSX to a 2007 Lexus is350.

My passenger side low beam light bulb is out not sure why. I have changed the bulb from the other side and even a new one and the bulb still wont turn on. Its not a bulb issue for sure. could it be the ballast? Keep in mind that the high beam does work only the low beam does not (both on the passenger side). If its not the ballast what else could it be?

These are HID lights? If so it definitely could be a ballast. Or a loose connection somewhere.

Yes they are D4S HID. I was thinking how could it be ballast if one of them works. so it could still be? if connection issue where should i start looking also fuses are all good

Ouch. You need a ballast most likely. Check power into the ballast. If you have twelve volts at power side check continuity to ground and if you have continuity go buy a ballast. Oh and idk if you know but don't touch the glass of the bulbs with your bare hands.


And you should be checking for power and continuity to ground at the plug that goes from ballast into wiring harness. Not the plug going from ballast to headlight
