Weird tire noise /rubbing?
I have 07 350 and don't know if this is common or not but I have winter tires on 17's but also notice the same thing when I have my summer tires on also 17's. Let's say I'm at a complete stop and I turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right and then let go of brake as if to make a u turn, I hear and feel like if the tires were too big and rubbing against something, like almost if they were hitting something kind of skipping. Basically it's not smooth when making a u turn. Also happens when I reverse and turn the steering wheel all the way to either side and reverse, literally feels like the tires are to big and it's catching on something.. Is this normal? 17's are small for this car and I'm not lowered or anything. Is it normal?

usual problem is rubbing on the fender liner, how thick are your tires and sidewalls?
