Tonight I was in a parking lot and needed to make a tight left turn to get out. I noticed several fairly loud pops when I had the steering wheel turned fully to the left and rolling slightly. It also felt like the front tires were skipping or sliding every time it popped. I'm not sure if I'm describing this adequately, but it felt as though I was hitting bumps or potholes, although the lot was perfectly smooth. The pops were coming from the front suspension and tires. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thank you,

Thank you,
Lou's link is dead on the money. Mid thirties is not a happy temperature for summer tires at all.
All of you guys are absolutely correct!!! I did the same maneuver today at about 48 degrees and no pops or slips. Whew!! What a relief, and to think I was worried for nothing (but I just didn't know). What an excellent forum with excellent knowledge from excellent members..
Thanks a million. Now back to enjoying my "F".
