Default I know this has been discussed, but tall drivers in a 2IS?

I've been looking for a 350 but the only thing holding me back is the size. I've driven a few but for some reason it's really hard for me to tell if I'd be comfortable in the car for a long trip. 10-30 minute test drives sure its OK, but I don't know how I'd like it for a 5 hour trip or something.

I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam so I have a lot of height in my torso. I definitely can't sit up straight in the car so I need to lean back to be comfy. Which would be fine but the steering wheel doesn't come out that far so it's a bit of a reach. I'm coming from a C5 corvette so maybe I'm just spoiled with the "cockpit" type feel.

Any tall drivers care to chime in?

I'm only 6'1" but a larger frame guy. I haven't driven mine long distance but it's a tight fit for me.

Are you young, lean(er) and in good health? If you answered no to any, it might not be the car for you.
I have noticed a few threads about others complaining of long distance trips but those were more related to seats than space. But who knows, they may be linked somehow.

Good luck in your search.

I'm 190lbs, athletic build. The width and legroom are both fine. My only concern is the headroom.

Yeah, I bet it's tight. It's tight for me so I can only imagine.

Funny thing is my hair rubs on the roof of my wife's Runner when I drive it...

I'm 6'3 and the seat is pretty much all the way back, IMO if noones behind you and its just a passenger or two youl be fine, but if its a full car be ready to move your seat up or get complaints from the backseat loll

I'm 5' 9" with a pretty long torso and I find myself hitting the roof with my racing helmet on with the seat on the lowest setting. . I think there is enough legroom with up to two 6' guys front and back but I've got a torso a bit on the longer side.

Lol 6'3 2 hour trip if you have to move your seat up for the 4th person. Your going to have a bad time. its so cramped and if you move it up its hard to break or accelerate cause your knew is hitting the front.

6'3" here and it's not too uncomfortable if there isn't anyone behind me. I've driven the car on 11 hour road trips fine. My problem is head bumps on egress/ingress and the steering wheel being to narrow fatiguing my hands. My wife is 5'4" and she has no issues.

Agree with everyone else. I'm 6'3" and I have no issues. People behind me may have some issues, but I rarely have people in the back seat so it doesn't matter.

I've done several hour road trips and it's so comfortable I absolutely love the car. I'm also about 190lbs FYI.

Headroom isn't an issue and I have the sunroof option as well. The only time it's an issue is when I'm wearing a helmet at the track.

Don't expect to fit anyone behind you. So consider it a 3 seater car.
