So what would u fellow CL members do in this situation?? They offer to get them fix (refinish) or should i say screw u and get me new wheels?
All 4 rims have been scraped up by the balancing machine..
Damn near cried😥😥 when i saw it..

I would ask for new wheel to start with....

Depends on the rims, finish type, previous condition, age etc.

If they can make them look like they were before or better, then that's fine. But if the refinish will be a lower quality, then new wheels.

Most shops are smart enough to warn you before hand. Kal-tire by my house even told me they would probably scratch my wheels. Ended up finding a shop with a machine that uses lasers to make sure it doesn't psychically touch the rim.

The rims were bnib and i evn asked them if they will have any issues since it being 19s amd they said no..
Im going to try and get them to replace the wheels if possible..

re finish is probably cheaper than buying new ones... i had one wheel refinish cuz of minor scratches... it turned out better than the manufacture finish...

I don't see them buying you new rims. If they can get a quality refinish job done, it will look new. I got my rims refinished this summer, and they look factory new, $165 per wheel. Tell them you'll agree to refinishing, but you expect that the wheel will look factory new, and match the other wheels perfect.

If they refinish, and it looks like crap, then tell them they need to do better.

Thanx for the opinion and advices..im going to see how the refinish is and go from there and also ask for a refund on the mount and balance..

I had a blowout on my right side front wheel, and the finish of course got damaged (drove on the rim after the tire blew). Discount Tire had it refinished and the finish looks great, just like OEM and matches the other three wheels. However, the back of the refinished wheel has scratch marks, something I can live with.

I had to replace my front tire. Tire changing machine destroyed my newly done powered coated rim. Fricking lil corner tire shops suck!
