Steering wheel loose and pulling
Hopefully I can explain this properly. When I am slowly turning my steering wheel will not always return to center. In fact, it tends to pull all the way in the direction I'm turning and the wheel almost fall over. It gets stuck all the way over and if I were to not manually return the wheel to center, my car would essentially be driven in circles if I were to just step on the gas. It's concerning because I have to always have a heavy grip on the wheel to make sure it doesn't turn all the way. My wheel will also easily jerk when I hit a bump or if there is a strong contour in the rode. I recently got this car so for all I know this is what electronic steering feels like. I'm not used to this loose steering. I used to have a 2009 BMW 335i which had very heavy steering that always wanted to return to center. I took my car to the dealership for service and they said one of my tires what low but I literally just filled them up last week to the specified psi and it didn't help at all. I am fairly certain this is not a function of tire pressure. Also, I have a loaner car which is a new 2014 IS250 and the steering is much much tighter. Although I know it's a model so assuming the steering is probably different. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is driving me nuts!

If you turn it to FULL LOCK, yes, it will likely stay in that position. It has to do with the steering geometry and alignment from the factory on these 2IS models.
What tires are you running on your 2IS? Some tires are prone to tramlining and such issues.
If you get an IS-F steering ECU, it does tend to help with the steering feel.

I had the same issue. See: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ramlining.html
But as the tires wore a bit over the year, it seemed to have improved a bit. I'll be changing out my tires soon anyways.
