Default Update on P0305 CEL

Hey guys, I brought my 2010 IS250 with 63K miles to the dealer for the check engine and a-trac lights on, had the code read at Oriley Auto Parts and was engine misfire cylinder #5. The service guy said it was carbon build up and the top end needs to cleaned under the TSB and Lexus covers all charges, so i had them install new plugs while they were in there for the cost of the plugs only no labor. I also got a nice 2014 IS350 as a loaner until the next day, and let me tell you the 350 will move and they have some nice upgrades in just four years compared to my 2010. Here's a few pics of the 14. I picked mine back up and paid for the plugs and no charges for the cleaning, parts and oil changes. The car is doing great now, just going to miss the power of the 350....

The same happened to me but I had the plugs from Sewell ready to go. The new IS looks good. Did it make you want to trade yours in?

I would love to have a new one but just got the 10 about four months ago and really love it, the plugs were like $25 each.

Now you see why if you have the choice, 350 > 250 everyday of the week!
