Good update!
I'm also in the 17" wheel camp by choice. Did you weigh the BBS wheels yourself to get the 17lb weight?

Bumping this up.
[Note: Ride height uneven because the car was just jacked up and did not move since
Since i'm not crazy about anything aggressive/show stopper and want the OEM+ route as well as comfort, i ultimately went with BBS 17's (from an EVO9) as my stock 17s were all dinged up. Also went a size up in tires from the OEM 225/45/17 to 235/45/17. Hard to tell in the pic, but the 235/45s have a noticeable difference in terms of sidewall 'bubble' and also height. I prefer these over the 225's.
The BBS wheels are approximately 17 lbs each, and bolted right on. The only thing needed was hubcentric rings. You can reuse stock lugs, etc.
This setup resulted in a HUGE increase in comfort, big enough that I'm no longer itching to swap out my s-techs for another set of springs/coils with comfy spring rates.

^ I did not weigh but found the weight online (EVO 9 MR SE BBS Wheels, ~17-18lbs). When i picked the wheels up it was surprising how much lighter they are than the stock wheels, and also considerably lighter compared to a set of 18" enkeis i had lying around.
