2006 is 250
Bought a 2006 IS250 and learning the most random stuff about it.
There is no manual for the car so I got no clue which package I have on the car. Lexus North American Ran my cars Vin and determined it was a Premium Package. Though I have the 18 inch rims, and the trunk Spoiler. Said I don't have ML sound system but I have 14 speakers, with the amp in the back?
What kinda is250 is this?
premium or sport?
ML or pioneer?
Note is250 is rwd, and is missing the Navi and radio piece.
How do I know I have the ML system? and If I don't will the Mark Levinson radio still work with the normal wire harness?

You can tell if you have ML system with the following quick test:
1. "Mark Levinson" words printed near the volume button. Easiest to tell.
2. You can hear sound from the middle speaker in front. The stock one does NOT have middle speaker in front.
3. Playing around with navigation, if you have "surround sound", then you have ML.
Premium package gives you only heated/cooling seats plus the wood trim or something, i guess.
Mark Levinson will only work on its own system, it has different layout, speakers, amp etc from the stock. It is very crisp and clean with super low distortion. I have it and like it so much more than the stock system.

Not sure if you can read, But my car is 'MISSING' the navi and radio piece.
It looks like I have a speaker at the edge of the front windshield though not sure if there is a speaker in it. So by DOES NOT do you mean there is no speaker holes? or there could be the holes just no speaker?
I have cool heated seats and Powered seats. but I have parts of the sport package as well so Im a little confused which package I really got.
cheers

I'm thinking you might have the same package as me (Premium). I also have the front speaker holes but no sound/speaker in there so I assume not ML. My OEM wheels are 18" in size.
