Winter parking tips!
Hey guys couldn't find a proper post on it, wanted to get your opinions on winter storage. I'm parking my is250 RWD for the winter (got my old 96 Camry still, so gonna use that), was wondering if i should leave it on the trickle charge for the 5-6 months or just take out the battery? Can i just remove the negative or take it out completely?
Any comments or advice would be great
also anyone with a gray mica is*** got any pics?? been searching the forum alot of white, black or unique painted/plasti dipped colors im seeing oO

Here's the official SGM thread:

And for parking it, I would top the gas up completely and add some octane stabilizer and either disconnect the negative eon the battery, or just go out and start it up every so often, like once a week or something. Wouldn't worry about trickle charging the battery.
May be a good idea to move it forward or back every so often to avoid flat spots on the tires. Not sure how easily they form though.

When I had my S2000 I would top up fuel and add a bottle of stabilizer, removed battery - stored battery where it was not exposed to cold all winter. Oh ya I pumped tires up to around 45 psi so the chance of flat spots was reduced. Did this 2 seasons and no issues or concerns with flat spots on tires.
