for my 2006 Lexus IS350

However when I start my car and turn on the lights the new lights would turn on for 1 second and than :

17 H-LP UPR 15A Headlight high beams fuse blows up.

Twice now so I've decided that I should not touch with those again and ask before trying again.

Now do you guys believe they have sent me a wrong or defected decoder or is there some thing I'm missing ?

hmmm is this possible where one other fuse blew and is causing the problem ? I'm only asking this because I never replaced the fuses and my battery died and replaced it.

I agree with one of the posts that the decoder is defective, seem like the resister might be overloading and blew the fuse.
