Default could a sub box cause this to happen to tires

my car is all stock on the wheels ,tires ,suspension, but have a sub box in trunk...im guessing it weighs 75-100 lbs...would this cause the rear to ride lower and the rear wheels to always be riding more up in the wheel well ,and constantly putting more camber on them...and wearing the insides of the rear tires???....I do drive a lot but go through some tires because of this...this really getting old fast...the alighnment seems to be fine

The 75-100 lbs. extra weight should have some effect on tires wear. But shouldn't be much effect. Lets say rear tires should have like 10-20% shorter life. Check your rear shocks for wear and leak. That could be the culprit.

got new tires on the way...will have the alighnment checked this week....and shocks...just tired of the tires doing this...if not for the inside being wore...they would have made it another 3-4 months at least

You can always try rear camber arms to lessen your camber wear

I agree, the extra weight should not be making a major noticeable difference

The weight should affect none on the rear as you describe.

100lbs shouldnt make that much of a difference to see in your tires. Go get an alignment and you should be good.

Glad to hear you figured it out! Also, 75-100 lbs is heavy for a sub box, so you either over estimated or you're running some very serious gear back there.
