SO I had a bumper bender and I'm looking from the outside in trying to figure out what the circled sensors purpose is. '08 AWD no lamp washers no park assist. One located on the left and one on the right. Can anyone figure this out?

Airbag deployment sensor, if I remember correctly is says so right on the label.

No, it is triggered by the force of impact...as in you can be stopped and someone hit you hard enough and they will deploy at 0mph
