Default Wiper fluid reservoir leak

I went to go fill up the wiper fluid and filled it all the way to the top, than I realized that the fluid was dropping drastically and fast. I felt some drops on my foot and noticed that the fluid was leaking! Anyone else have this problem/am I filling it to high? Also, I'm assuming if it is a leak with the reservoir that it's just a simple/cheap replacement. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the hose at the bottom, often this cracks. It's under constant vibration.

The narrow bit of the washer fluid tank is just a funnel which fits loosely into the neck of the bottle. If you fill it so that there is fluid in the narrow funnel, it will pour out where the funnel meets the main bottle, because there is no seal there.

If you ever need to change a headlight bulb, you need to remove the funnel and you'll see exactly why the fluid pours out.
