My iPhone Setup (update)
After many hours of research regarding iPhone mounts I decided to go with a Kuda mount. I also wanted to find a way to run the power cord to it without having to see too much of a wire mess. I found a compact charger from the Apple store and removed the coin tray. Then I drilled a hole in the bottom of the recessed area to pass the power cord through. Finally I lined the container with felt.
I am pleased with the results. The phone is mounted away from the gear shifter but close enough for me comfortably reach it with my elbow rested on the center console. I have more room for my hands to reach into the tray and there are no more coin rattles. The best part is that if I remove all of the hardware from the car I can simply put the coin tray back in and it will cover the drill holes, returning it to the stock look. Here are some pictures.
*Update: I have recently acquired a Ram mount and I am using it in conjunction with the Kuda mount. The extension provides much easier access to my phone. New pictures below:
There is a lot more space in the tray for coins
The compact charger sits low enough for the lid to clear, unlike most other chargers.
Just Wireless car charger
I went ahead and created a false floor for my center console while I had the felt. I wrapped a piece of wood and made sure it was a snug fit. It hides my iPod and looks stock.

Oh yea I notice you don't have nav. In my car setup, I have a little nav system setup just like your phone and it's tapped into the 12v power next to the coin case. Turns on when the car turns on. But then again you have an iPhone and I don't

I can't stand those holder things.. here's how I've done mine everytime..
I dont have any pics of the new phone in the holder, but here's the holder, it's in the same spot, just drop in and go.
