Idle Air control Valve (IAC) need cleaning?
Hi!
I have just got my car back from the dealer for the engine rebuild, car feels a lot peppier now. However, the vibrant idling in D(drive) is still here and the rpm still dips about 500 when coming to a stop.
I was suggested by my service advisor that it may be the IAC that needs to be cleaned for the rough idle.
Just curious if there's anyone had a similar experience with this idle issue and got it fixed by a full throttle body cleanup or something.
Thanks!

Hi There, I also have the exact issue with my 2014 Lexus IS350. When braking to a stop, the rpm would dip to 500rpm and rise back to around 600rpm at idle in Drive. I can feel the car has more vibrations than before. Feel like it is too low to be idling at that rpm, don’t know what the issue is. Did anyone get a solution to fix it?
