Default Insurance Rental question

I had a claim, and my insurance cover $30/day rental car. If I didn't rent any car from enterprise etc. Can I still get my money back from my insurance? Mercury is my insurance company

So I think you're asking if you can get $30 per day rental car money from your insurance company without renting a car?
If so...no.

Take the rental coverage off your insurance if that's the case.

Yeah you will not be able to get the $30/day in a check or anything. When my brother got into an accident (he was 19) he did get a rental car though. I'm not sure which company it was, but AAA got the rental car under my dads name and said that my brother would be covered with his AAA insurance (Not rental insurance) on the rental car. If anything did happen, it would just be subject to the same deductibles as if the car was one of our own. Call your insurance company and find out if you can do this...you may be able to have a willing parent take the car out for you and be covered still.

I work for enterprise and anyone between the ages 18-20 can rent a car as long it's a replacement rental(which in your case) and that you have full coverage and it transfers to the rental.. Just keep in mind if something happens to the rental you are responsible to pay your deductible... Hope this was helpful info

insurance companies usually offer a lesser amount of money per day if you choose not to rent a car.
call them and ask, theyll probably offer you between $10-15 for everyday you dont rent a car
